Carey Jordan

Carey is a partner in the Houston office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP.  She is a patent veteran with two decades of experience handling patent prosecution matters, patent challenges, litigation, and intellectual property counseling for large and small clients. From refining and specialty chemicals to polymers and plastics, Carey has dealt with the gamut of intellectual property issues facing large companies. Her forte is managing global patent portfolios efficiently and cost-effectively in alignment with her clients’ business goals. She is considered by clients to be responsive, talented, and a creative, out-of-the-box thinker in addressing her clients’ needs. Carey received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, and her M.S. and B.S. in textiles and chemistry from Clemson University.

Rod Wittenberg

Rod Wittenberg is the Director of Patent Workflow Solutions for LexisNexis IP based in Horsham, Pennsylvania. He is a technology evangelist and has worked in the Reed Elsevier organization for more than 20 years. In his current role, Rod has been a major contributor in developing market and sales strategy, alliance models, product development and managing other key business activities.

Mr. Wittenberg holds a Juris Doctorate and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Sociology. He has practiced law in the state of Massachusetts and is a Trustee Emeritus of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation.
